Clean the bathroom in 15 minutes

What makes bathroom cleaning more complicated than the cleaning procedures you perform in the other rooms is that you cannot just pick up the trash and vacuum the floor. On the contrary, bathroom needs regular and most of all, thorough sanitizing if you want to make sure you live in a germ-free environment. Of course, bathroom cleaning should not be associated with several hours spent in scrubbing the tiles and cleaning the cabinets. You just have to spend no more than 15 minutes a day and soon you will see that things take care of themselves.

  • It is important to have all your cleaning detergents in one place. Don’t underestimate the importance of this step and prepare sponges, cleaning agents and mops you will need for your 15-minute bathroom cleaning.
  • Spray some disinfectant onto the sink and let it stay for a while. Use that time to pick up the obvious trash – scattered cotton swabs, toothbrushes you no longer use, etc. If you want to completely exclude the bathroom cleaning from your home cleaning list, then you should also disinfect the toilet.
  • Wipe off the disinfectant from the sink and the toilet by using a soft cloth. If you want to save time, you can use anti-bacterial wet wipes for cleaning around the faucet.
  • Organize the items that belong to the bathroom area and find a place to those that do not belong there. Proper organization will also help you when you do a post tenancy cleaning Croydon and have to organize your stuff in boxes.
  • The last stages of your 15-minute cleanup are cleaning the mirror and mopping the floor. You can use a homemade solution of water and vinegar for both of them. If you wish so, you can spray some air freshener to neutralize the vinegar smell.
It is not necessary to perform all these steps at once. You can split the cleaning procedures in several consecutive days so that they fit your busy lifestyle. Don’t forget that you can always arrange a professional maid to visit your home on weekly or fortnightly basis.
